Why a Mystery Quilt? Not knowing the end result before you start the project makes the trip even more of an adventure. It is a fast and easy-to-piece design with the only limitations being your willingness to play with color and textures! When choosing your fabric, of course you’ll want fabrics that go well together but don’t underestimate the power of choosing the right values. If you don’t have 3 distinct values this mystery quilt may not work!
With the right values chosen, you can't screw up this quilt so be creative, take a chance, and enjoy the process. If you love your creation, it's a bonus. If you hate it - give away and start again! It's only patchwork, cupcake! xoxom

Each quilt has its own “up close and personal” feel to capture the true beauty of the animal. The quilts are constructed as raw edge appliqué using fusible web. With such dramatic results, it is hard to believe that the construction is so simple. Students may choose from any of the Endangered Species Quilt patterns. Kits available on Rob's website: www.robappell.com. Class is also available on Wednesday - Class #313.
