This quilt is a great “canvas” for revealing your fabric history. In the Magic Hour, I included fabric from curtains in the house I was born, and the very first dress I ever made – in a sewing class when I was just nine years old! You can use leftover strips from loads of other projects to make these blocks, and the quilt is also very fat-quarter friendly. The success of this quilt is in the value of your fabric – light to dark. The more fabric, the better! This is so much fun! The book is required: "M'Liss Rae Hawley's: Scrappy Quilts" it is available at your local quilt shop, on-line; www.amazon.com, www.ctpub.com and www.equilter.com.
